Bradford City drawn away to Wigan
10:08pm Wednesday 26th September 2012 in Bantams
By Simon Parker, Bradford City Reporter
City will travel to Wigan in the Capital One Cup fourth round.
It will be the first time the Bantams have faced Premier League opposition since losing 4-1 at West Brom in the same competition in September 2005.
But it still comes as an anti-climax as Phil Parkinson's men once again missed out on the really big guns.

What a set of numpties, you come on Bulls site, moaning. You moan if owt goes wrong at City. You're in the last 16, against a side that can be beaten, a great chance to go forward. Yet you're moaning, just proves a point, you don't now what you want. A successful team going forward or a set of losers. Mind you you do have both, if you think about it.
People are disapointed due to the fact we have come so far and been given a tie against a team where the financial rewards are basically nil.

GOAL DIFFERENCE -5.
They sit 15(out of 20) in prem with 4 points.
City need to take the fans there to form the atmosphere for our lads.

How can you talk about winning and going forward after how the Bulls play, you are lucky to have a team let alone still be in super league.

I am a true city fan, have been for many years, probably before you were a sperm in your dads sack, many times I commented on the Bulls T&A page wishing them all the best in their survival and once they survived wished them well for the future.
I was born in Bradford lived their for first 27 years of my life.
I hope both football and rugby do well in Bradford.

A bit of a kick in the teeth for the lads, who deserve far better reward for their exploits, but the cup is pretty low on our list of priorities for the season.
Port Vale at home is far more important than any cup game will be.

I agree that on paper it looks poor, but they aren't half bad and if we play well and win and get to the quarter final we will get some reward. This competition has been about long term team confidence rather than pennies in the piggy bank. We could take 2 or 3 thousand there and out sing them. Perhaps it is a tie that Jewell would like to watch if he still cares, either way it is down to the squad, the manager and us to try to win to reach the final 8 of the League Cup.
Lets look up and Wigan are certainly that ...
Come on City

Winnable tie for us, speaking to a Pie Eater last night and he thinks Martinez will put more or less a 2nd string out against us, staying in the prem is their priority. It is also local enough for us to take a decent following, not all doom and gloom lads.

What have we to be jealous about viking? You fed up because a few city fans have seen through the dross that has been going on up at the tip and have dared to comment.
After many of your comments on The Dulls from The Dump and these most recent ones here I am going to set up a nice little troll account and ruin your every thread and comment as I think you are a bit of **nksock. Hope you can uncover my lovely Bulls supporting alter-ego.

My dear chap, once again I get a bite, using my own name. The majority of City supporters will see the sense in my posts. The farther you go on any competition generates monies. It's a fact. Mind you, you can't see that.
You really bored or is it tit for tat as some city fans may have gone onto your section. Whatever it is it's childish and sad so do one.

Drawing the worst supported Prem club at their ground is little reward for the teams efforts, the city fans are aware of both these FACTS which is why there is the disappointment. If we lose to wigan we will have made NO money from this cup run, if we had drawn Man U or Chelsea and lost we would have had receipts of approx 500k.

So on here, I have just read appalling comments about our club, a lot of fourth division attitudes used to fourth division football.

Not too sure who you think Wigan are. Have a quick look and see who we beat 4-1 on both occasions to get here. We put out our '2nd' string team on both occasions. Have a look at our goals against Championship side Forest, they were world class. The Sky commentators and the Forest Manager admitted the gulf in class of the players in the Premier League and the Championship. So on here, I have just read appalling comments about our club, a lot of fourth division attitudes used to fourth division football.
