City fans are being invited to see in the new year in Morecambe.

Phil Parkinson’s men will kick off 2013 at the Globe Arena and supporters can stay over at a nearby caravan park.

Avid Bantams fan Daniel Thornton is the general manager of the Regent Leisure Park just across the road from Morecambe’s ground and is organising a two-night stop-over.

Thornton has arranged entertainment for City followers for the past two seasons, featuring a question-and-answer session with a club connection.

Stuart McCall and Dean Windass have been quizzed in previous years. This time he is hoping to get Peter Jackson for Sunday, December 30.

A party on new year’s eve will also include cabaret from singer Nathan Moore, former front man of 80s boy band Brother Beyond.

Caravans, based on six people sharing, will cost £150, which also covers entry to the party.

Details are available from daniel.thornton@southlakelandparks.co.uk.
