James Hanson made a surprise return to the frontline after recovering from his back injury.

City's top scorer partnered Michael Boulding up front while last week's hero Gareth Evans moved to right midfield. Chris Brandon dropped to the bench.

Scott Neilson and Steve Williams both paid the price for poor displays at Plainmoor. Zesh Rehman was recalled to the defence but Simon Ramsden retained the captaincy.
