CITY'S home game against Portsmouth on Saturday has been iced off.
With the "Beast from the East" wintry weather system showing no sign of relenting, further snow has fallen on Valley Parade.
While the pitch continued to be protected by covers, problems with the surrounding areas raised safety concerns amid the plunging temperatures.
The decision was taken to call the game off on safety grounds.
Details of a new date will be announced in due course.
Meanwhile, City's home game against Shrewsbury has been moved from April 14 to Thursday, April 12 to be shown live on Sky. It will be the third time in a month they will play on TV.
