CITY gloriously ended Wigan’s unbeaten home record as Stuart McCall admitted: “We got exactly what we deserved.”
After the frustration of last week’s loss to bottom club Plymouth, the Bantams turned on the style to clinch a late 2-1 win at the DW Stadium.
Substitute Tyrell Robinson smashed a spectacular goal in stoppage time to clinch a sixth win on the road for McCall’s men.
McCall said: “We haven’t scored many late goals so that was nice. It was a fantastic strike”
“We’ve got a good group of players and we wanted them to go out and show that.
“If we play at that level, I know we’re a match for anyone.
“Tyrell scores goals. In all the under-23 games, he always seems to get himself on the scoresheet and I’m really pleased for him.
“We didn’t get what we deserved last week but we certainly did today.”
