ALEX Gilliead has completed his return to Bradford City.

The Newcastle winger today signed a six-month loan deal at Valley Parade.

The 21-year-old, who becomes City’s sixth summer recruit, was back at Apperley Bridge today to join in the double session of training. He could be involved in the opening pre-season friendly at Park Avenue tomorrow.

Gilliead made ten appearances on loan last season, including five starts, but missed eight games with a hamstring injury. He was an unused substitute in the play-off final at Wembley.
