STUART McCall has confirmed that Colin Doyle will be in City's goal at Scunthorpe on Sunday.

The keeper is expected to be on the Republic of Ireland bench for tomorrow night's World Cup qualifier against Wales in Dublin.

But he will then fly back in time to link up with the Bantams for training ahead of their televised trip to the Iron.

Irish boss Martin O'Neill has cleared it for Doyle to come back - and then head back over after the game for the international friendly against Iceland next Tuesday.

Josh Cullen also plans to join the squad after playing for Republic of Ireland under-21s against Kosovo on Saturday afternoon.

McCall has not completely ruled out involving the on-loan midfielder at Glanford Park but will not take any chances.

He said: “It would be irresponsible of us if Josh plays any part after a full 90 minutes on Saturday, even to have him on the bench.

“But they might be 3-0 up and he comes off after an hour. We’ll monitor the situation but he'll certainly be with us."
