Joe Cracknell saved a penalty to keep City Reserves' deficit to 1-0
NEW recruits Jacob Hanson, Kevin Toner and Matt Penney were in the City Reserves side that lost 1-0 at Walsall in the Central League.
Danny Devine was the only senior regular in the Bantams line-up as they went down to a volley by Andreas Makris in the 19th minute after a headed clearance by James King had fallen into his path.
City keeper Joe Cracknell saved a Franck Moussa penalty, awarded for handball after half an hour, to keep the score down. A spot-kick appeal by Penney for a foul at the other end was waved away.
