STUART McCall felt the only negative about City's 2-2 draw with Gillingham today was the result.

It was a tenth stalemate in 16 home games for the Bantams who missed the chance to go third with a win.

Charlie Wyke enjoyed a dream debut with a 14th-minute header and all looked to be going to plan when Tony McMahon put the Bantams in front before the break.

But Gillingham levelled three minutes into the second half and then defended in numbers to frustrate the home side.

McCall said: "It's disappointing result and Gillingham got what they came for. But I thought the performance was excellent.

"We have had shots inches wide, one kicked off the line and the corners were dangerous all day. We were just a little bit unfortunate that things didn't fall for us.

"There was good quality on a tricky surface. I'm naturally disappointed with a point but pleased with the effort.

"We can't do anything about the number of draws. If anyone thinks we'll settle for a point at home, they must be living on the moon."
