Tony McMahon played the first half in City reserves' Central League Cup 1-0 win against Rotherham at Apperley Bridge today.

The right back, who has not played for the first team since picking up a thigh injury in late August, featured alongside several experienced players including Matthew Kilgallon, Rory McArdle, Nathan Clarke and Filipe Morais.

City triumphed thanks to an 89th minute winner from Reece Webb-Foster following a great run from Danny Devine.
