CITY will run a late fitness check on James Hanson and Tony McMahon ahead of tomorrow’s clash at MK Dons.
Assistant boss Kenny Black this afternoon confirmed that both players will be assessed but is hopeful they will make it.
Hanson felt his calf tighten at the end of Saturday’s win at Peterborough and right back McMahon took a knock.
Black said: “With the size of the squad and the injuries we have just now, we certainly don’t want any more. We’re hopeful these guys will be available.
“Tim Dieng trained this morning and we’re hopeful if there’s no reaction he’ll definitely be back for Saturday.
“Tomorrow may be touch and go as we don’t want to risk anything.”
City anticipate clearance to come through for striker Vincent Rabiega to be added to the squad.
But Filipe Morais is not expected to be ready to return after missing the weekend win.
