JAMES Mason today issued a “where are you” war cry to City’s army of season-ticket holders ahead of tomorrow’s huge clash with Walsall.

The Bantams boast over 18,000 season-ticket and flexi-cards and Mason hopes they will be out in force at Valley Parade for a game with huge play-off implications.

“We haven’t seen all 18,000 all season for whatever reason,” said City’s chief operating officer.

“It would be brilliant if they could all get there tomorrow for what is going to be a massive day.

“It’s a fantastic game. We know we need to win our games to secure our place in the play-offs and Walsall have aspirations of finishing second.

“They will bring a big away following so if we can have every season-ticket holder there, it will be a massive crowd.

“We asked for big turn-outs at Shrewsbury and Coventry and got them. Unfortunately we didn’t get the rewards we’d have liked.

“But the support has been fantastic all season, particularly in the last few weeks, and they’ve got a really big part to play in hopefully roaring the team to a sixth home win in a row.

“We will be doing all sorts prior to the game to try to ramp up the atmosphere.”

The Upgrade the Parade campaign, which finishes tonight, has been boosted by a £1,000 cheque from another “mystery” fan.

Mason said: “He has supported Bradford City for a number of years and wanted to give something back without any return.”
