BIRMINGHAM striker Wes Thomas has joined City on a three-month loan.

The 29-year-old goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's home clash with Fleetwood.

City are his ninth club and he recently returned from a loan spell at Swindon, where he scored twice in six appearances.

He has not played since November - ironically his last appearance was a 5-1 thumping at Fleetwood.

Phil Parkinson said: "Wes is a player who looks to run in behind (defenders) and looks to make good runs in and around the penalty box. We’re looking forward to getting him among the group."
