CITY are not expecting any imminent result from investment talks with an unnamed German group.

It is understood that a number of parties have contacted the club since Gianni Paladini's unsuccessful takeover bid.

The Germans are believed to have surfaced in the summer at the time when Paladini was trying to buy the club.

They have kept in touch with the board and were even invited to attend a home game alongside co-chairman Julian Rhodes earlier this season.

City sources have confirmed that while occasional conversations have taken place, they do not believe that anything concrete will happen any time soon.
