PHIL Parkinson predicts City’s clash with table-topping Coventry tomorrow will be a cracker.

The Bantams put their nine-game unbeaten run on the line against a Sky Blues side who have won four straight to move to the League One summit.

Parkinson said: “It’s a mouth-watering game. I think it’s going to be terrific.

“Our last two home games against Coventry have been really entertaining and both teams go into this on form. The way we’re both set up, I’m sure it will be great to watch.

“Tony (Mowbray) is a very experienced manager. Mark Venus, who I know very well, and Tony have done some good business late in the window.

“Sometimes youngsters come in and don’t hit the ground running. But the ones they’ve taken have been brilliant for them and given that extra bit of quality to the team.

“Equally they are an open team when they haven’t got the ball and there are areas where I feel we’ve got players to give them problems.”

James Meredith and James Hanson are making good progress from their injuries but will not be ready to feature.

Parkinson added: “They have made big improvements over the weekend, which is great news for us. We’ll just assess them again over the next 48 hours but they’re not going to be long term.”
