REECE Burke is set to miss City's FA Cup first-round replay at home to Aldershot tomorrow night due to a minor knee problem.

The on-loan West Ham defender, who missed the Bantams' 2-0 home win over Crewe on Saturday because of international commitments with the England Under-20 side, sustained the injury in training at Woodhouse Grove on Monday.

Boss Phil Parkinson said: “Reece has picked up a slight injury to his knee in training on Monday.

“It’s nothing serious but at the moment he’s a doubt.”

Nathan Clarke is set to continue alongside Rory McArdle at the heart of the defence with Greg Leigh again deputising for James Meredith at left back.

Parkinson added: “Nathan Clarke and Greg Leigh took their opportunities well on Saturday, so I was pleased for them both.

“We always say it’s a squad game and when you get a chance you’ve got to do everything you can to stay in the team."

Chris Routis is also pushing for a start against Aldershot following his recovery from injury and appearance off the bench against Crewe.

Parkinson said: “He’s itching to get back involved in a starting position and I’m sure his opportunity will come.

“He’s ready to start and he’s a very fit lad and a great athlete, so I wouldn’t have any qualms about throwing him back in.”

Josh Morris may also feature in tomorrow's replay, with Parkinson adding: "Josh has trained in the past couple of days, so we'll have a look at him in the morning and see whether we include him."

Meredith, meanwhile featured for Australia again today as the Socceroos beat Bangladesh 4-0 in Dhaka.

Former Everton star Tim Cahill scored a first-half hat-trick, taking his international tally to an incredible 45 goals in just 88 caps.

Skipper Mile Jedinak also found the scoresheet in the opening 45 minutes before Ange Postecoglou’s side eased up somewhat with the three points secured.
