CITY have started the hunt for a new winger on loan after the "terrible" loss of Paul Anderson.

Phil Parkinson spent yesterday busy on the phone identifying possible targets to replace the latest long-term casualty, who broke his leg against Peterborough.

Parkinson said: "It's always difficult getting hold of people on a Sunday but I made a lot of calls and there are a few possibilities we will have a look at. But it's terrible news for us to lose Paul.

"The last few weeks he has started to show what he is all about. He had a couple of good performances from the bench and I thought he was excellent in the Sheffield United game."
