Alan Sheehan, right, is returning to Notts County
City defender Alan Sheehan has rejoined Notts County on a three-month loan deal.
The left back, who had a loan spell at Peterborough last season, will stay at Meadow Lane until Boxing Day.
The Irishman, who can also play centre half, made over 120 appearances for County in his first spell at the club between 2011 and 2014 before moving to Valley Parade.
He is now in line to make his second Magpies debut against York City tomorrow.
