GUISELEY came from behind to inflict a first pre-season defeat on a makeshift City at Nethermoor tonight.
Adam Boyes scored twice in the second half to win 2-1 after the Bantams had led at half-time through right winger Adam Drury - one of nine trialists used by Phil Parkinson.
Winger Mark Marshall impressed the large City majority in the 2,432 crowd in his first start with his pace and trickery and there were also some bright moments from American youngster Jon Lewis.
CITY: Cracknell, Hendrie, McAusland, Saunders, Leigh, Drury, Wright, Fotheringham, Marshall, James, Lewis. Subs: Omolokun, Walker, Devine, McBurnie, Mottley-Henry, Qsiyer, Payne, Mellor, Hallwood.
