BRADFORD City have been drawn away to Yorkshire rivals York City in the Capital One Cup first round.

The Bantams, who famously reached the final of the competition as a fourth-tier team in 2013, were among the seeded teams in the northern section of the draw.

They have not faced the League Two Minstermen since March 2013, when they won 2-0 at Bootham Crescent with goals from James Hanson and Garry Thompson.

The tie will see City defender James Meredith return to his former club and will take place in the week commencing August 10.

Leeds United face a trip to Doncaster, while Huddersfield Town are at home to Notts County.
