CITY paid the price for a slow start as they slipped up at League One bottom club Yeovil.

The Glovers did the double over Phil Parkinson's side with a 1-0 win at Huish Park yesterday, Gozie Ugwu scoring the only goal after 26 minutes.

Parkinson said: "We didn’t start as well as we have been doing. There wasn't the 11 players right on the money at the start of the game which we needed.

"You could say there was a bit of fatigue there but after the goal we found a bit of energy and dominated the game.

"We were tremendous second half and played in their half but just couldn’t get that goal. We just couldn’t produce that telling pass or bit of quality."
