STRIKER Francois Zoko has joined City on a two-month loan from Blackpool.

The 31-year-old from the Ivory Coast, is with the club up to and including the Yeovil away trip on January 17.

He has been signed in time to feature against Gillingham this afternoon.

Zoko has made 14 appearances for the Tangerines so far, seven of them starts. He has scored once – to clinch their only win so far against Cardiff.

He hasn’t started since Lee Clark took over as manager and was not involved in their last two games.

But he netted in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Manchester United’s training ground on Tuesday.

He scored 16 goals in 40 games for Stevenage last term, including one in their 3-2 win at Valley Parade in March.

Zoko previously played for Carlisle and Notts County, where he was a team-mate of Gary Liddle and Alan Sheehan.
