FILIPE Morais expects a warmer reception than he was used to as an MK Dons player.

The Portuguese made his senior debut with the Dons on loan from Chelsea in 2006 and played 13 games.

But that was before stadium:mk had been built so home games were played at the more basic National Hockey Stadium.

“It was a cold place to play,” Morais recalled. “Nevertheless I loved it playing real teams, like Nottingham Forest, after spending all my time in the reserves.

“It was exciting as a young lad to be playing in front of a crowd. Danny Wilson was the manager at the time and he really helped me.”

Morais has had mixed fortunes from the three occasions he has returned to Milton Keynes since.

The winger drew 0-0 first time back with Oldham, only to be thumped 5-0 the following season. But his last visit two seasons ago saw Stevenage win 1-0.
