BRYAN Robson would love to see Bradford City return to the top flight.

The Manchester United and England legend had a difficult spell during his six months at the Valley Parade helm ten years ago. City were plunged into a second administration during that time and relegated from the Championship.

But Robson still keeps an eye out for the Bantams and believes they have the potential to rise again.

He said: “I see Bradford as a Premier League club and hopefully one day soon they will be back up there.

“It was great to see the club get to Wembley twice in the same season and I was really pleased for the supporters because they’ve been through some tough times.

“The fans are brilliant and I always get a warm welcome whenever I come back to the area.”

Robson returns to West Yorkshire for a question-and-answer session with former United team-mate Norman Whiteside. The event will take place at Victoria Hall, Keighley, on Friday, September 5.

Promoter Mick Speight said: “We regularly work with Bryan but to bring him and Norman to Keighley is a real coup for us.”
