Get set to snap up Bradford City tickets for Villa games
6:40am Monday 24th December 2012 in Bantams
By Simon Parker, Bradford City Reporter
City can expect similar scenes to these ahead of the Arsenal game as fans prepare to queue for their tickets to the Aston Villa semi-final matches
Tickets for both of City’s Capital One Cup semi-final legs will go on sale from Thursday morning.
Season-ticket and flexicard holders can book their seats for the Aston Villa games from 9am on December 27.
Using the same system as the Arsenal tie, they can buy a maximum of two home tickets on a first come, first served basis.
Once again, nobody will be guaranteed their usual seat, although they will be able to choose what is available.
Season-ticket and flexicard holders can also buy one ticket each for the return leg at Villa Park.
Villa put their tickets on sale on Friday but City decided to wait until after tomorrow’s home game with Accrington.
They decided against doing it on Saturday because of the number of fans making the abortive coach trip to Wycombe.
Supporters holding season tickets and flexicards can secure their seats between Thursday and 5pm on Friday, January 4.
They cannot buy from the ticket office on Saturday because of the Rochdale match or on New Year’s Day.
The online facility will be available right through that period, including those two days.
Remaining tickets, for both home and away games, will then go on general sale from 9am on Saturday, January 5.
Villa, like Arsenal, will be given the whole Midland Road Stand for the first leg on Tuesday, January 8. Tickets for City fans cost £25 adults, £20 concessions and £15 for under-16s.
City have been given the full allocation of 6,375 tickets for the Villa Park tie on Tuesday, January 22. Those will cost £29 adults, £25 concessions and £15 juniors.
Meanwhile, the City ticket office is open until 1pm today and then from 9am on Boxing Day to buy tickets for the Accrington game that afternoon.

Delighted with City's ticket prices and selling availability this week. But on Boxing day--would have been very helpful, when a large crowd will be attending the Home Match. To keep the Ticket office open from an early start time --until a very late finish time on that day; would be extremely beneficial to ALL the Supporters, especially those that have to travel long distances to City- on Boxing Day.
*
I am not sure that Villa's allocation of 6375 will be enough. Plus their prices are higher.
*
Off topic slightly-- I will be staying in Bradford from today, for the next TWO Home matches. BUT --I do not like the look of the forecasted inclement weather.

Freddy wrote:Understand what your saying Freddy, but I'm sure club will still be hoping to sell the early bird offer to those with Christmas cash. Its a busy time for the ticket office and we will not be staffed for this as we are not so used to such success so its hard to staff for. We have to remember its Christmas for the admin staff too.

Many thanks --Macca 1969. Appreciate your thoughts. But as 'Tyker' says--it is going to be an expensive, but exciting time, for Bradford City and the Supporters. Two Home Matches--Villa Tickets--Season Ticket Offer etc.
*
So it's Cornflakes for Starters--A boiled Egg and Pot Noodle --Pieces of Bread and Sugar for Xmas Dinner!!. Good outcome is-- Her Indoors does not like that, so has stormed of to her Mothers!!!.

Yuletide Felicitations to EVERYONE ASSOCIATED with Bradford City AFC.

Funny! The AVFC official website ticket page is showing the 2 City matches as being "Premier League" fixtures.

Yeah size3, there's no rush with the early bird ST offer which has been extended to the end of March which now sits nicely with the Villa tickets coming on sale. There is now a mini bus coming over from Sligo rather than the four fans from that town that turned up last time for the Arsenal game, i'm getting an extra couple of tickets for fans nearer home...exciting times to be a BCFC, thats for sure.
