After the last two performances with the way our stand in center backs have played I hope they are given further game time rather than putting John Egan straight in to the team as they have done nothing wrong to be dropped for a loanee ??,if they play poorly then bring the lad Eganin but not before IMO it does nothing for players confidence being dropped after a good performance !!.

Agree McHugh has been nothing short of sensational so far and deserves a run. But with all the games building up we have to be careful of fatigue setting in. He is after all a young lad

Here is what I read on newnow about
Egan:

Bradford City have confirmed the signing of young Sunderland and Republic Of Ireland Under-21 defender John Egan on a months loan.

It seems to be a step down for Egan having spent time at Crystal Palace and Sheffield United last season, but it should ensure he gets games which is crucial for his development at the moment as he looks to make a push towards the first team picture.

Egan's recently become a regular for the Republic Of Ireland, and has long been a regular for the (former) Reserves and (now) Development sides.

We need cover it's going to get manic if we get anymore replays in the F.A cup.
Poor draw in next round though Brentford would have prefered a team nearer home.

What do you mean nearer home? We are at home if/when we win.
