Get VP full, get behind the boys and who knows. One of the best things I noticed from wigan was everything from the 5000 was encouraging. Everyone had given 100% and nobody questioned it. Hanson was clearly cream crackered from running his arse off all game but the encouragement seemed to get him that bit extra! Where as usually people would get on his back a bit. It's amazing what the so called 12th man is capable of.

I'm guessing you might have to be on a database or buy for some more home games at the same time.

Club won't want to risk Arsenal fans turning up in the home ends, and theres plenty of armchair gunners around in and around Bradford who could buy before the day.

We beat them in the Prem and am I glad they won that miraculous game yesterday because this is the perfect tie!

A proper footballing side, with a genius of a manager though the business plan is skewed,

Should be a full house and a semi berth is not impossible!

COYB!

They're a lovely side when in full flow and one whose model should be applauded, especially given how Wigan and many others play a game based on it, these lot are the real deal.

Welcome to the Highbury of the North!

And we're not talking fishermen!

Yes!! About time! VP is gonna be packed! Lets put a show on - make more noise than in Wigan!! Surely will be on TV! Parky has his wish of getting extra cash for strengthening the squad, the players get the chance to impress against another prem league side and us the fans are rewarded with a plum draw!! Come on city!!!

The best sugestion I have seen so far is to give vouchers out at the next few home games to guarantee a ticket to boost the crowds in the run up and milk it for all we can.
Us season ticket holders don't have to worry about a thing, tickets guaranteed.

People are already asking on the BCFC Facebook page about when tickets go on sale and prices. The game was only draw 30 flipping minutes ago.

Im guessing quite a few of them are local Arsenal armchair fans. Theses people can go whistle for tickets. AFC are always well supported away from home by proper fans, these one-game-charlies who are trying to get in can go and sod off.

I've seen City play down south a lot over the last few years - would love to return to VP for this one, but prob very difficult to get a ticket, esp arranging it from down in London. Ah well, on TV I hope - bit of cash for the club! Can't wait!!! Really pleased it's Arsenal, a lovely club and decent fans. So glad it's not vs Leeds

Will my Wigan ticket count for anything 'cos I spent £50in the hope of a plum tie which we've certainly got.

Rambo says...
11:40pm Wed 31 Oct 12

Whoa there, slow down. I don't control the ticketing system down at VP.

We'll probably give Arsenal the entire Midland road, with which they would likely fill the 4,500.

That leaves about 21,000 across the rest of the ground which we should be able to cover through STs, other priority tickets (such as Wigan) and then people on a database if they've bought before/been members.

Maybe after that like TVOR says, vouchers could be given to fans who go to the upcoming home games (and away games?) to make sure plastic fans aren't going to get in as people have to prove reasonably they are BCFC fans.

Fantastic reward for the lads' cup exploits.

With L**ds game not being on until the following week, there's got to be a great chance of it being on tv.

Let's get stuck in againgst them; I can't imagine someone like Arshavin fancying it, on a cold, windy night in glorious Bradford.

I just hope it doesn't provide a distraction to out league campaign, as the overriding aim has to be promotion, and I would place 3 points far and above any cup win.

Guess who made his professioanl debut for Zenit St Petersburg. In the Intertoto Cup. At Valley Parade. And scored.....

Go on, guess....

And besides, he's Russian. He should be used to weather worse than ours....

Come on guys, even getting some armchair fans getting into the game could ultimately be a good thing! You never know, once they get a taste for it they could potentially be a season ticket holders for next season! I say welcome to all, enjoy and please come back again!!!! God knows we can use all the help we can to start getting back to where we belong!

the gate should bring in over 50k in cash. wat cut does the away team get?

what would the televison rights be and how would that be split and what do capital one pay the quarterfinalists (if anything)

One would hope that he diectors would release some of those funds in January but will they?

As we are due to play Souhend away on Friday 15th December (in a match much more important than the Arsenal game) I hope this game will be on the Tuesday.
As for those suggesting "fans like Nosher" stay away - how can they also expect us to fill the ground ?
The ground holds 25000 and the last time we got more than that for a home game was 1949

I think that 1st chance for tickets should go to those who went to Wigan and season ticket holders.

I think the idea of collecting vouchers from next few home games for the floating supporters is a great one, maybe they need 2 or 3 vouchers and then they get the 2nd chance.

Think Arsenal should be given Bradford end (can't see more than 2000 coming up from London mid week).

I also think the adult prices should be£25 for this game - I would be more than happy to pay extra fiver per ticket for good of the club.

Asolutely brilliant!

It will be a great night but please let's focus on racking up some points in the league and then go into this game on a real high.

In other words feed well on the bread and butter and then get set to enjoy the banquet....

Valley Parade at its very best!

I wasn't saying that he wouldn't be used to the cold Rambo, more that someone like Arshavin might feel the setting and occasion was somewhat beneath them.

A player of undoubted talent, but little heart.

I would have thought that city would want has much local support as possible. I have been a Bradford Northern / bulls fan since 1964. I stopped going to football in the early 70's because of the mindless violence, that ruined the sport.
