Magnificent City are into the Capital One Cup quarter-finals after another dramatic penalty victory.
The Bantams bridged a 59-place gap to dump Premier League Wigan 4-2 on spot-kicks after the game had finished goalless at the end of extra-time.
City, backed by 5,000 screaming fans, were deadly with all their penalties while Shaun Maloney fired over the bar before Matt Duke made the decisive save from Jordi Gomez.
Ivan Ramis had the ball in the City net in the first ten minutes but his header was ruled out for offside.
Matt Duke, one of the six changes, saved at the feet of Mauro Boselli and Jordi Gomez fired over. But City held firm and Wigan’s early pressure soon blew itself out.
City had sporadic moments – and twice saw penalty appeals turned down – before Duke made an alert block to deny Gomez right on half-time.
The visitors deserved to go in level for the way they had fought back after a tough first 20 minutes.
Duke saved again from a long-range shot by David Jones at the start of the second half but resilient City still kept Wigan at arm’s length.
City had a great chance 15 minutes from time when Zavon Hines broke from the halfway line but Ali Al Habsi blocked his shot at the near post.
Extra-time was all one-way traffic with Wigan clocking up the chances. The best fell to Gomez after 111 minutes but he slotted wide when clean through.
Duke saved well from the dangerous Shaun Maloney as City hung on for the shoot-out – where they finished an unbelievable night in style.

7:12pm
Wigan team: Al Habsi, Stam, Ramis, Fyvie, Jones, Lopez, Watson, Redmond, Gomez, Boselli, McManaman.
Reckon only two of them, Al Habsi and Ramis, started against West Ham on Saturday.
6:53pm
So four youngsters on the City bench, including striker Louie Swain for the first time. He did travel with the squad to Cheltenham at the end of last season.
Forrayah Bass featured quite regularly early in pre-season at left back and looked pretty good.
6:51pm
Six changes for #bcafc team from the Burton game. Obviously most are enforced by the injuries to Luke Oliver and Andrew Davies and Ricky Ravenhill's suspension.
Rory McArdle and Carl McHugh fill the void at centre half as they did in the second half against the Brewers. Behind them, Matt Duke gets the nod over Jon McLaughlin in goal.
Phil Parkinson resisted the temptation to start Gary Jones, so Will Atkinson will partner Nathan Doyle in central midfield. Zavon Hines replaces the cup-tied Craig Forsyth on the left.
Nahki Wells returns from suspension up front to take over from Alan Connell, who is one of the few experienced faces on the bench alongside Jones.
CITY: Duke, Darby, McArdle, McHugh, Meredith, Thompson, Doyle, Atkinson, Hines, Wells, Hanson. Subs: G Jones, Connell, Baker, Brown, Bass, Swain, McLaughlin.
5:31pm
Hoping the lads can put a performance in tonight and not underestimate Bradford with their 738382 travellings fans. #wafc #bcafc
