Aireborough Lions youngsters are put through their paces
Aireborough Lions have issued a rallying call for aspiring young players to join the club ahead of the 2013-14 campaign.
The Nunroyd Park junior section now boasts nine teams from four-year-olds through to under-14s, a new age group for next season.
“At Aireborough, we believe it is important to start them young,” said Lions chairman Steve Gaunt.
“We try to build the players up slowly before full contact is introduced and newcomers can be assured that they will not be thrown into situations before they are ready.”
