Six local juniors to attend North under-16 development day

James Otulakowski (Ermysted’s and Wharfedale) – son of former professional footballer Anton – Jordan Poole (Benton Park and Yarnbury) and Matthew Postlethwaite (Ilkley Grammar and Ilkley) have been selected to attend a North Under-16 development day at Sandbach Rugby Club on Sunday, December 9.

They will be joined by West Park Leeds trio Tom Gorman and Will Newett from Leeds Grammar School and Max Wright from Silcoates.

All the players have emerged after festivals at Sedbergh School, Woodhouse Grove School and Durham School.

The squad will be trimmed before an assessment and trial day at Woodhouse Grove School on Sunday, December 16, prior to weekend sessions on January 26-27.
