Schoolboy mates off to compete in London

Schoolmates Gary Watt and Jason Mann will compete alongside each other at the London International Open on Sunday.

The Greengates Primary School pupils both train four to six days a week at Quest Taekwondo.

This weekend’s trip will be Gary’s first open competition after showing great commitment in sparring.

Jason’s first open was in the London International last year and he will be looking to go one better than the silver medal he won on that occasion.

He has recently changed his training style, taking inspiration from successful Team Quest students such as Jamie Kidd and Sam Finnigan.
