Rebekah Tiler shows her form
Rebekah Tiler smashed 24 records as she cruised to victory in the British under-23 and under-18 Weightlifting Championships at Scotstoun in Glasgow.
The 14-year-old from Denholme lifted 84kg in the snatch and 108kg in the clean and jerk, totalling 192kg in the 69kg bodyweight class and taking an easy win.
The Bingley Grammar School pupil beat all other lifters in her category, whether under-20, under-23 or seniors.
In doing so, Tiler set new British records in all age groups from under-23 to under-14 – and three new English records as well.
