Keighley prospect Leah Moorby has been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Taekwondo Union Cadet Championships in Romania.
The 13-year-old Holy Family School student will compete in the under-51kg category at the Bucharest event from August 22-25.
Leah, who is the daughter of former Cougars player and coach Gary, said: “I feel really proud to have been chosen to represent my country at my age. I feel all the hard work has been worth it.
“I owe a lot to my coaches, sponsors, my dad, family and school for all the support they have given me – plus I cannot wait to get my official Team GB tracksuit!”
Leah began the martial art as a seven year-old and achieved her black belt aged 11.
