Frost proved a problem for Burley Trojans in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League's Under-12 Division D, although in this case it was Danny rather than 'Jack'.

He had a hand in the third and fifth goals for Bradford Park Avenue Eagles and scored the killer fourth in their 5-1 away victory.

The visitors made a great start, Josh Barrett's low cross finding its way to the back post, where Zack Sangster was waiting to score his 20th goal of the campaign.

Sangster then turned provider with a great ball through to captain Tyler Rhodes, who shot across the keeper into the corner of the net, taking his goal tally to double figures for the season.

Fast- improving Burley caused problems for the Eagles and deservedly pulled a goal back and almost equalised just before half-time but were denied by an excellent goal-line clearance by Cameron Miles.

The Trojans' spirit was dampened very early in the second half, however, when Hassan Ali fired home after great work by Sangster and Danny Frost in the corner.

Soon after came the fourth goal that put the game beyond doubt, Ali this time being the provider for Frost.

To their credit, Burley never gave up and made the Eagles defence work hard, but late in the game Frost's cross found Jack Holroyd in acres of space, and he brought the ball down and fired home.

Leaders Avenue looked a little rusty after a long lay-off but it was good preparation for their big clash at home to third-placed Campion at the weekend.

In Under-14 Division C, Avenue triumphed 5-2 at a cold and wet Salts to make it back-to-back wins over the Panthers.

Salts took the lead but Avenue were soon ahead via Billy Enoch and man of the match Daniel Isaacs but Salts replied to make it 2-2.

However, Avenue Juniors stepped up a gear, substitute Hassan Qureshi snatching a quick brace and Enoch finishing Panthers off.

Albion Sports were generally in control of their Under-15 Division A clash against Manningham All Stars, winning 6-3.

Leading goal-scorer Krishan Patel was soon on the mark for Albion, Umar Karim doubling the lead with another close-range finish before Cameron Green added a third midway through the first half.

Manningham pulled one back just before half-time but Patel scored again after the break.

Albion then conceded two to make it 4-3 but to Green got his second from the penalty spot and Patel completed his hat-trick. Marcel Kalenski was man of the match.

Baildon Dynamos Under-Tens lost 4-3 to Leeds Maccabi in the Keybury Junior League, goals  coming from man of the match Loius Turner (2) and Charlie Menzies.

Just as exciting was Bradford Park Avenue Lizards' under-12 clash with visitors Horsforth, Avenue winning 5-2 to make it 12 victories from 12.

Lizards moved into a comfortable 2-0 lead via Alex Gibson and former Horsforth player Cameron Brewster, only for Horsforth to equalise with two goals in the minute before half-time.

Bradford were still reeling at the start of the second half but Gibson put them back in front, and scored again with a superb header from Brewster's cross - afitting way to mark their 100th goal of the season.

Lizards' back line of Jacob Dunn, Kaylum Johnson and Stefan Giangregrio were pressured but a break by Jack Wright pushed the visitors back, and a powerful strike by Dominic Corps was too much for the Horsforth keeper, who parried well, only to see the ball creep over the line.

Dudley Hill Rangers under-nines had the rub of the green at snowy Thackley Storm in winning 4-0.

Storm's Thomas Sara-Gray was outstanding in goal, and only a great strike from Jake Softley was the difference at half-time.

In the second half, Storm broke but a shot against a post bounced back into Rangers keeper Rajan Sandhu's hands to deny them, which sparked Rangers into life with goals from Niall Griffiths (2) and Dominic Howard, who scored with a fine lob. Spencer Dunk edged the man-of-the-match award.
