Mohammed Esa Hussain is making quite a name for himself in the world of kick boxing – at the age of five!

The Hollingwood Primary School pupil has amassed quite a collection of trophies as he regularly beats older children in the tournaments he enters.

Esa’s latest triumphs came at a Bradford event hosted by Azhar Farooq Kickboxing Club (AFK), in which he finished second in the singles and was part of the winning team.

This followed two trophies earned last year in a similar tournament when aged just four (third singles and second team), as well as a silver medal in the under-six category at the MAI Championships in Manchester.

Esa, who is a big fan of top British boxer Amir Khan, enjoys weekly lessons at AFK – and has his own website page at school which updates his list of achievements.

So far he has earned white and yellow belts in his chosen sport and is hoping to add the next grade (orange) to the collection before Christmas.
