Ingrid Fernandes, a community colleague for ASDA's Cemetery Road branch, has presented Farnham Primary School with their Kwik Cricket trophy for winning the West Bradford area competition at Great Horton Church Cricket club.
Five other schools took part - Princeville, St Oswald’s, Copthorne, Horton Grange and Crossley Hall - but skipper Humera Shaheen, Laila laqbal, Aqib Hussain, Amhan Ali, Umar Farooq, Adam Ahmed, Mehraan Hussain, Fazar Ali and Hammad Ahmed made Farnham's head teacher Richard Edwards and learning mentor Omar Asharaf very proud.
