Schools from the Bradford South, West and Aire Valley partnerships have contributed to what could be a record entry in the Drax Cup competition for under-nines.
More than 300 schools have already registered and about 200 more could well sign up before this week's entry deadline.
A Drax Cup spokesperson said: “We always experience a last minute flood of entries and hope any Bradford schools or partnerships still considering the competition will join us for some brilliant cricket and the chance to play in the finals at Headingley.”
Individual schools and school sports partnerships can register at www.thedraxcup.co.uk.
