Bradford Council and Bradford City Football Club have organised a series of ‘Kick It Out’ events.

The programme, for school children aged between eight and ten throughout the district, aims to integrate pupils from different schools and communities through football activities in support of the national ‘Kick Racism Out of Football’ campaign.

The games will be held at The Leisure Centre Keighley tomorrow, at Manningham Sports Centre on Wednesday and at Richard Dunn Sports Centre on Thursday.

Besides matches, there will be interactive educational activities to raise awareness of racism.

Bantams players will attend the games and will present prizes to the children displaying the best attitude to fairness in the game.

Bradford Council’s Get into Football Development Project has also organised a ‘Kick it Out’ event for female students at Bradford University and College. It will incorporate small-sided games and the students will be organised into teams on the day.

The event will be held at Bradford College tomorrow between 1.30 and 4pm.
