Drighlington Primary School lifted the winners’ cup at the Yorkshire RFU YAZOO Regional Tag Rugby Festival.
The event, attended by around 250 boys and girls from across the region, took place at Pontefract RUFC.
The festival is one of the highlights of an on-going campaign by the RFU & YAZOO Primary School Programme, designed to encourage children to participate in sport and pursue healthier lifestyles.
The winning team from Drighlington and the runners up from St Wilfrids Primary School have secured a place at the tenth National Tag 2 Twickenham Final to be held on Wednesday.
