Former England international Paul Sampson has announced his retirement from professional rugby at the age of 33.
The former Woodhouse Grove pupil won three caps during a 15-year career that saw him have spells at Wasps, Bath, Worcester, London Broncos, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Blackheath and London Welsh.
A notable sprinter when younger, Sampson was called up to the England squad while he was still at school.
