Wyke Wanderers have started girls’ training for under-eights and under-nines following interest at a recent local schools’ event.

They are now looking to recruit more players and enter a team in the new season in the West Riding Girls’ League next season.

Training, led by Tara Nolan, takes place each Saturday at the Albert Morton Playing Fields, Scholes (10am).
