Craven, Aire & Wharfe League under-12 Division C leaders Horton Foxes were made to work hard by ten-man My BD5 United for their 6-2 home win.
Ring-rusty passing following the lengthy Christmas break, coupled with a strong desire to win the ball by BD5, made for a closer game than the scoreline suggests.
A hat-trick from James Parkinson and goals from Daniel Dockray, Jamie Bradley and Sam Thomas saw off the BD5 challenge.
The Foxes are looking for a new goalkeeper. If anyone is interested they should telpehone Matthew on 07796-264644.

Hat-tricks from Reece Clay and Stan Cahill, along with a single goal from Jack Leach, earned Wyke Wanderers under-eights A team a 7-0 victory against hosts Howden Clough.
For his excellent work-rate and superb finishing, Clay was named man of the match.

It was a return to winning ways for the Lions after a run of three successive league and cup defeats, in their first game since November.
Their last win was against their weekend opponents, 5-2 on November 6.
Batley scored from a free-kick in the ninth minute before Suhail Khan fired home on his debut early in the second half.
