ECCLESHILL United Blues under-11s secured a stunning win on their return to league action as they thrashed Hunslet 8-2.
Star of the show was hat-trick hero Jack Lorriman, who terrorised the opposition throughout, while Mitchell Hardaker also shone with a double.
Captain Thomas Sugden, leading from the front, got his name on the scoresheet as well, with the other goals coming from Aaron Armitage and Joe Blurre.
Eccleshill Hawks under-11s were involved in a much closer affair but prevailed 3-2 against previously-unbeaten Baildon Dynamos.
Jess Matthews and Louis O'Connor both netted for the Hawks, while Harris Khan capped his man-of-the-match display with a stunning strike which would have been a fitting goal to win any game.
