DUDLEY Hill Rangers under-eights Blues must have been fearing the worst when they were losing 3-2 and the referee said "ten seconds left" at Halifax-based St Columba's.

However, they need not have worried as William Schofield latched on to a clearance and struck the ball low into the net to salvage a draw in the Bradford & Calderdale Keybury Junior League.

The hosts were leading 2-0 inside ten minutes but Peter Hill, from close range, and a wonderful Harvey Bostock half-volley brought them level before the late drama.

Rangers' Reds match at Leeds Maccabi also had a late twist, Amraj Gul making it 1-1 for the visitors in the closing minutes after they felt the majority of the decisions had gone against them.

Also away were Rangers' under-12s against third-placed Warley Rangers at Calder High School, where Karlson Ogie's pace gave the visitors the edge in an honest contest.

He scored their last four goals against tiring hosts to turn a 2-1 deficit to a 5-3 victory after Harry Norton had put Dudley Hill ahead. One of the Warley goals came when a shot hit a post and cannoned in off keeper Rajan Sandhu's back.

Conditions were cold and wet for Albion Sports' under-nines at home to Leeds Maccabi but the cooler conditions did not affect the home side's scoring prowess as they won 9-2 at Woodhall Playing Fields.

The goal-scorers were Shubham Rana (4), Arian Saria (2), man of the match Muhammad Mustafa, who also had four assists, Bobby Joe Metcalf and Abdul Ghafoor.

Bradford Warriors' under-seven Blues and Whites picked up good wins at Queensbury in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League.

The Blues triumphed 13-4 with goals from Isaac Wright (3), Theo Dufton (3), Jude Moulden (2), Sam Keach (2), man of the match Lewis Walford-Dryden (2) and Seanne Nunney.

The Whites were 8-3 victors against Queensbury B thanks to Zac Cooper (3), Tyler Hirst-Booth (3), Keele Flynn and Jacob Stone, with Sean Junior-Lee and Harrison Rush sharing the man of the match honours.

Blues and Whites were also victorious at under-eights level, with man of the match Shy Moulden (2), Cale Gomersall, Jason Duffy, Joel Mooney and Harry Coup netting at home to Rastrick A.

Declan Puddicombe (5), man of the match Asher Smith (2) and Tommy Swain were on the mark against Rastrick B.

Rangers' under-nines had contrasting fortunes, with the Blues losing 6-0 at Wyke A but the Whites winning 6-1 against Wyke B, where man of the match Alfie Smith (3), Joseph McCallion (2) and Isaac Carr were on target.

The under-tens lost 2-1 at home to Wyke with the last kick of the game, Coby Crowther netting for the Warriors.

Bradford Park Avenue's top-of-the-table clash at Queensbury Cougars in Under-13 Division Two was predictably close.

Connor Chippindale and Ellis Joseph both put Avenue ahead but they needed a Josh Missin free-kick to win it 3-2 and go two points clear, Aaran Midgley being named man of the match.

Adam Merrifield put Bradford Park Avenue B ahead at Lepton Highlanders B, but it proved a false dawn as they lost 12-1, Morgan Brookes picking up the gong.
