Danny Hunt's fine solo run put the Cobbydalers ahead at the interval and centre back Jake Lee's bullet header made it 2-0 midway through the second half.

When Lawrence Green made it 3-0 with 20 minutes left, it seemed like game over, but Elliot Godfrey-Clarke's penalty and Jack Dutson's strike put a different complexion on things.

Thackley were pushing for an equaliser but Oli Whitham made three goal-saving tackles and keeper Mateusz Wasielewski was assured as Silsden swapped berths with their fifth-placed opponents.

The Halifax visitors levelled at 4-4 but Albion finished on top, with Rana and Mustafa – who has 61 goals in 18 matches – both hitting the woodwork. Defender Bobby Joe Metcalf was Albion's man of the match.
