ALBION Sports under-eights might be putting a ban on Telegraph & Argus photographers covering their matches!

They have only lost two games out of 16 this season in the Bradford & District Keybury League – but both have occurred when a T&A snapper has been present.

Albion manager Kamran Rawad said: "I think the boys are camera shy when the photographers are around.

"This match, and the other one against Horsforth we have lost, we had the T&A photographers covering us. Hopefully next time we will get a win."

Keighley Shamrocks Knights overturned Sports 4-3 in a thriller at Woodhall Playing Fields, with the home side missing defensive rock Bobby-Jo Metcalf, who was visiting family in Ireland.

Skipper Muhammad Mustafa gave Albion the lead and the in-form Shubham Rana made it 2-0. But poor defending allowed Shamrocks to equalise before Mustafa's second – his 58th goal in 16 matches this season – made it 3-2.

Nevertheless, the impressive visitors levelled inside the last ten minutes and grabbed another goal five minutes later to notch only their second victory of the season.

Harry Bellamy (2) and Alfie Woolaston (2) struck for Shamrocks, who were denied several times by outstanding saves from Ranveer Singh. Midfielder Connor Hopkins, in only his second game, shone for the Knights.

Third-placed Bradford Park Avenue did not get into their Huddersfield RCD League Under-12 Division Two match until the second half, which proved too late as fourth-placed visitors Netherton won 1-0 to swap places with their hosts.

Josh Missin was Avenue's man of the match, while the B team went down 5-0 at Ossett Albion C. Keeper Alistair Welch got the Ossett parents' vote as the visitors' man of the match, while at the other end, Clark Bolton and Ben Bordall went close to scoring.

Bradford United have jumped up to second in Craven, Aire & Wharfe League Under-16 Division C after a hard-fought 2-1 win at Alpha United.

The visitors were 1-0 down at half-time but James Frazer and a first goal of the season from left back Connor Russell decided it, midfielder Lewis Haynes taking the man of the match award.

Bolton Woods Sabres were playing their first fixture since mid-November in Under-13 Division B but handed second-placed visitors Settle United their first defeat of the campaign.

Theo Cokewright opened the scoring for Sabres after six minutes, cutting past three defenders before hitting an inch-perfect shot, and it was 2-0 after Ben O'Shea's volley from inside the area.

Thomas Cokewright made it 3-0 midway through the half before the ever-dangerousScott Taylor replied either side of half-time, his second goal being his 34th of the campaign.

But Alex Gibson's 20-yard free-kick gave Sabres breathing space, which they needed when Nathan Bullock made it 4-3 and Settle United missed a penalty which would have meant a stunning contest was drawn.
