IT ISN'T only Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal who will be 'playing in Europe' in the Champions League in the new year.

The Bradford & District Keybury Junior League have entered into an arrangement with the Calderdale Junior League involving their Under-11 A divisions.

The top four teams from each league would go forward to the 'Champions League' and the bottom four would go into a 'Europa League'.

Bradford & District Keybury League secretary Pete Walshe explained: "Group matches will start on Sunday, February 1, with the semi-finals at Brighouse Town and Dudley Hill in late April and the finals at Silsden in late May.

"Each league only has one division at that age group and this helps to give the lads extra matches."

Leaders Dudley Hill Rangers will be playing in the higher tier as they are among four teams who have an unassailable advantage in the Bradford & District Keybury League Under-11 Blue Division.

However, the destination of the title is another matter as defending champions Ilkley Town are only two points behind them with three matches left, and they haven't played each other yet.

Rangers, who have so far won all 11 matches, host Ilkley at Newhall Park, Bierley on Sunday, January 4, with a Rangers victory there meaning that a win in the return fixture at Rawdon the following weekend would clinch the title for Dudley Hill.

Albion Sports, the only team to dent Ilkley so far with a 3-3 draw, and Sutton are the other top-four certainties.

Dudley Hill Rangers under-tens finished 2014 with a 7-0 victory at Bramley, goals coming from Joel Beaumont (2), Dominic Parish (2), Jodie Tiffany and Cormac O'Brien, although there is some dispute as to who got the final touch for the other goal when Beaumont chipped the keeper, O'Brien making sure the ball crossed the line.

Craven, Aire & Wharfe League Under-12 Division B leaders Eccleshill United B extended their unbeaten record to ten games with a 5-1 home defeat of mid-table Bradford Horton Sports at Plumpton Park's top pitch.

Billy-Joe Watson grabbed a hat-trick for United, other goals coming from Lewis Robinson and Taylor Williams, the latter sharing the man of the match award with centre back Jack Oxley.

Afsan Khan was on target for Sports, whose man of the match was Mustafa Khan.

Wyke Wanderers A are through to the last 16 of the Huddersfield RDC League's Under-11 Cup after beating Pudsey 5-0 in a mudbath.

Jack Leach netted the only goal of the first half, with Hayden Clifford adding a brace after the break before Leach netted again and Kamran Latif slotted in the fifth.

Wyke Wanderers B mounted an impressive comeback in the first round of the Under-11 League Trophy, winning 6-5 at home to Battyeford B after trailing 4-1 at half-time.

Luke Pearson added four goals to his first-half strike, but extra-time loomed before Tyrese Liu netted Wyke's winner in the final minute to book a tie at Wibsey.

In the Under-12 League Cup, Division 4B leaders Bradford Warriors faced their biggest test to date at Division One front-runners Shelley.

After 20 minutes, the game score was still 0-0 but Shelley led 2-0 at half-time, breaking the deadlock with a good free-kick and adding a second goal five minutes before the break.

Shelley made it 3-0 with another free-kick, their fourth goal coming shortly after, and they cashed in when Warriors were spent in the final ten minutes, adding four more goals for an 8-0 victory.

Warriors' goalkeeper Lewis Miller, who made some outstanding saves, was their man of the match.

Bradford Warriors under-nines were also in cup action at home to Netherton A, with no goals being scored in normal time.

However, the Warriors turned on the style in extra-time, with Jack Mahon, Lewis Thomas, Dylan Mavin and man of the match Donrique Davis on target without reply.
