BRADFORD United under-16s needed a stern half-time team-talk to pull things round at Bingley Juniors.

United trailed 2-1 at the interval in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League, centre back and captain Nathan Armstrong having scored from a well-taken free-kick.

However, after their telling off, Isaac Khan swiftly equalised and man of the match Ewan Pyrah finished Bingley off with his first brace for the club.

Leaders Wibsey Lions under-18s have handed out another mauling in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League, defeating Shelf Juniors 7-0.

Laurence Sorhaindo scored the first and then turned provider for Cam Green. It was only 2-0 at half-time but Wibsey hit their stride in the second half, with Green completing his second hat-trick of the season, Sorhaindo getting his second, Damien Hields converting a penalty and the tally being completed with an own goal.

Lions under-17s conceded two sloppy goals before turning things around against Huddersfield YMCA with goals from all over the pitch, winning 4-2 after efforts from centre back Harrison Whittaker, right midfielder James Grace, striker Daniel Burnett and substitute Callum Hanson.

However, Lions' under-13s suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 5-1 at Hade Edge after Jacob McLoughlin had given them the lead direct from a free-kick.

Wyke Wanderers under-11s won their second road trip in succession, beating Pudsey 4-1, the latter equalising after Jacob Smith had headed in Reece Clay's free-kick.

Smith netted twice more after the break before Jack Leach twice hit the crossbar, but Clay finished the scoring as the Pudsey keeper dropped his shot over the line.

Kamran Latif also hit the bar, and Pudsey were denied late on by Matthew Leaper pulling off a great save.

Wanderers' B team went down 7-1at home to Howden Clough, with Luke Pearson scoring for Wyke.

Bradford Warriors under-12s made hard work of things at Cleckheaton, trailing 4-3 before winning 6-4.

Roberto McFarlane, Jordan Styslo, Adam Worby, Ben Green, Bailey Breaks and David Milner were on target, while Callum Marshall was man of the match.

Half-time changes did Warriors' under-eight Blues no favours as they lost 5-3 against Ryburn United A, Alfie Smith, Harry Grieveson and Daniel Grigorjanc netting, but the Under-eight Whites carried on their winning ways as they triumphed 5-1 over Ryburn United B, with Harry Horan (2) Joseph McCallion, Brandon Goldsborough and Declan Jordan on target.

Warriors' under-sevens went goal crazy in despatching Drighlington 18-1, Declan Puddicombe hitting some sweet strikes in his five goals, the others coming from Alfie Gibson (4), Cale Gomersall (4), Harry Coup (3), Luke Bateman and Jason Duffy.

Silsden tested Dudley Hill Rangers under-tens' unbeaten record in the Bradford & District Keybury Junior League, hitting back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2, Callum Thornton and Taranjit Singh being the Rangers' marksmen, while the latter's under-sevens were lively in defeating Silsden Dragons 3-1 with goals from Peter Hill, Amraj Gull and Sammy Membe.

Superior fitness was the key to Rangers' under-11s' 8-1 victory over Burley, who were 1-1 at half-time.

Karlson Ogie (3) led the way, followed by Jake Softley (2), Anton Tavernier (2) and Rhys Hadley, while the under-nines Blues showed their improvement from a year ago in only losing 4-3 to Keighley Shamrocks Crusaders instead of 9-3. The under-nines Reds beat Keighley Shamrock s Knights 4-1, a Riley Wilson double leading the way.

Comeback of the weekend had to belong to Horsforth St Margarets Stallions under-12s, who fought back from 5-1 down in the second half at Westwood Dolphins to triumph 6-5 in Division Two of the Craven League, with Morgan Eastwood the hero with four goals.
