Bradford Warriors under-11s moved to the top of the Huddersfield RCD League with an 11-0 win at Cumberworth B – their fifth victory in a row.

Brandon McDonagh hit four goals for a Warriors side who dominated the game from the start, and there were hat-tricks for Jordan Styslo and Roberto Mcfarlane, with Alex Taylor-McKeown also on target.

Wyke Wanderers under-tens A battled the wind and rain as well as their opponents before coming away with a 2-1 home win over Clifton.

Clifton opened the scoring from long range with a speculative shot which was carried into the top corner by the wind.

Wyke pinned Clifton into their own half after the break and Jack Leach converted Jacob Smith’s assist before Reece Clay won the game with a well-struck shot.

The B team moved up to second place with a 3-2 win against Park Avenue with goals from Hayden Clifford (2) and Logan Jean-Jacques. Avenue’s keeper pulled off the save of the day to keep out Ranganai Muza’s powerful shot.

Shelf Juniors under-11s A produced an excellent team performance against Birchcliffe to stay top of the table.

Hat-tricks from Lewis Fitzpatrick and Josef Storer and two goals for Alex Swinbank gave them an 8-0 victory.

The B team kept their unbeaten run going with a 2-2 draw at Dewsbury Rangers, Matthew Buckley and a own goal earning Shelf a point to keep them challenging near the top of the table.
