Thackley Dragons under-14s cracked in a baker’s dozen against bottom-of-the-table Beckwithshaw Saints Braves in the Harrogate Junior League.

Jack I’Anson and Ryan Carre both grabbed hat-tricks, there were braces for man of the match Nathan Henderson-Hall and Joe Storey and single strikes for Ryan Holstead, Danny Grimshaw and captain Tom Storey.

The Dragons, who have four games left, remain third in C Division table behind Thackley Warriors and Otley Town.

Dudley Hill Rangers under-sevens went to Sutton Rogues in the Keybury Youth League and hit them for six, Joshua Whitford leading the way with four goals and on-song Adam Morris adding a brace in a 6-2 victory.

Dudley Hill Rangers under-eights hosted Albion Sports and, despite holding an early 3-1 advantage, they eventually lost 5-4. Callum Thornton (2), Dominic Parish and an own goal made up Rangers' tally.

It was only Albion's second game since Christmas but they only led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a superb left-foot strike from Sohail Mahmood.

Rangers then netted three times before Albion showed tremendous character, Casey Breaks levelling with a brace before Mahmood completed his hat-trick. Man of the match was Albion's debutant keeper Sanjeevan Singh.

After a long weather lay-off, Bradford Park Avenue Lizards under-12s won a gritty under-12s contest 2-0n at Albion Sports.

Heavy pressure from Kaylum Johnson, Matthew Ham and Dominic Corps finally paid off for Lizards, for whom Alex Gibson found the ever-alert Jack Wright.

He flicked the ball out to Cameron Brewster, who whipped past three defenders before an inch-perfect pass to Gibson was finished in style in the top corner.

Corps then had a goal disallowed before he got on the end of a neat Brewster corner and hammered the ball home from 15 yards to make it 13 wins out of 13.

Jacob Smith scored from 20 yards as Wyke Wanderers under-nines won 4-0 at Elland in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League.

Reece Clay capped a solid display with a superb angled goal, Jack Leach and Reuben Davies also finding the net for Wyke.

The B team followed up with a 9-0 victory. Matthew Leaper swapped keeper duties from the first game to net himself a hat-trick, Logan Jean-Jacques (2), Ranganai Muza (2), Lou Cook and Luke Morphet also scoring.

Superb defending gave Thackley Lightning a 3-1 victory at Bradford Park Avenue A in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League.

Avenue's Daniel Isaacs made it 1-1 in the first half but, although Avenue created plenty of chances in the second half, Thackley threw everything in their path in the second half. Avenue's man of the match was Mohammed Saqid for an exceptional performance at the back.

Avenue under-18s were in form against Salts, winning 6-2 as man of the match Shyam Patel and debutant Bradley Ross bossed the game in midfield.

Employing pass-and-move football, the goals came from Luther O'Farrell (2), Patel, Ryan Ward, Bradley Ross and Harry Hall.
